Qu E has been developing and manufacturing high-quality Duvet for 15 years and our partners cover more than 24 countries.
We can provide the test report and allow the third-party inspection and on-site checking through network video.
With our own production plant and our cooperation with the fastest and safest courier company, we are able to guarantee the delivery time.
We are the OEM factory for many well-known enterprises at home and abroad.
When we source goods from overseas, the most annoying thing is to encounter a fraudulent company. I believe many people fear this, so the first step is to find a trustworthy company. For example, in China, many international trading companies also have their own factory. Obviously, the factory is more reliable than a trading company. In addition, we can also check the company’s scale on Google, such as years of establishment, company reputation, main products, etc., to confirm the authenticity and reliability of this company.
We are a company specializing in trade and production. We have one down and feather production factory, one down and feather products factory and a trading company. We have been in this industry for 16 years and have 5 years of export experience. Our main customers Distributed in Europe, America and Japan, we mainly produce down feather products such as duvet, down sleeping bag, down pillow, feather pillow, etc. And have accumulated High quality and high reputation during these years of development.
The goods inspection is a difficult point in international procurement because the goods are in a foreign country and we cannot see or touch them.
How to ensure that the quality of the goods is consistent with the samples?
In order to solve this problem, our company provides three solutions:
1) Before the goods leave the factory, customers can find a third-party inspection company for inspection.
2) It can be checked on-site through network video.
3) Test report can be provided.
Because the cycle of multinational procurement is relatively long, it is very important to receive bulk order goods as soon as possible. Many products have seasonality. If you miss the peak sales season, it will be a huge Loss, so we need to find a company with its own production plant to cooperate, so that they can better control the delivery time quality, this is very important. We are a company with 2 production factories. Below is the business license of our factory:
We have 65 sewing staffs who only specialize in foreign trade orders. The down and feather materials are produced in our own factory, also all the products are made in our own factory, all that makes our production time is controllable. We also cooperate with the fastest and safest courier company in the country, so that the goods can reach the designated port safely and quickly.
So what are you still worried about?
Tell us what Duvets your need, and we provide a one-stop supply.
A duvet is something that is filled with down, and it is very much favoured by consumers for its properties of warmth, softness, comfort, air permeability & lightness. As a general term, duvets can be divided into a goose down duvet and duck down duvet based on their different variety of filler.
The advantages of duvets mainly come from their inner down. The natural down is shaped like reed flowers, if observed under a thousand-fold microscope, you will find the down is covered with thousands of tiny airbags which can contract and expand as temperature changes, and the airbags can produce a thermal control by absorbing the heat emitting from the human body and isolating the cold from outside. Therefore, the duvet is also called a "breathing quilt."
Down refers to the down feathers that grow on the abdomen and back of poultry, especially the feathers of ducks and geese that have been processed, and are often used to make products like duvets, down jackets, down sleeping bags etc.
The down content labelled on the duvet refers to the ratio of down and feathers. For example, 90/10 white goose down, means 90% white goose down and 10% white goose feathers.
One of the most important indicators is to measure the filling power. The higher the filling power, the superior the quality of the down and the stronger the thermal effect.
China has the world's largest breeding base of goose and duck, also is the country that exports the most goose & duck down, accounting for about 75% of the world's total. Due to the difference in types and colors, the down produced can also be divided into many varieties, such as white goose down, gray goose down, white duck down and gray duck down. First of all, it is stated that the quality of down has nothing to do with its color, but only related to the factors of the down itself, like cleanliness, bulkiness, residual value rate, etc.
Duck down and goose down have their own advantages and disadvantages:
Odor
Duck is an omnivorous animal, it feeds on fodder, insects, fish & shrimp etc because their food contains fatter, its fat content of duck down is relatively high, which results in a normal fishy smell in duck down. While the goose is a Herbivorous animal, usually feeds on weeds and aquatic plants, thus goose down contains less fat and little smell.
Output
The breeding time of ducks is comparatively short, but the geese breeding time is usually twice or more than that of ducks, so the output of duck down is more than that of goose down.
Water resistance
Duck down is rich in grease that can produce a good protective coating that can maintain a good filling power after being washed many times. Therefore, the water resistance of the duck down is higher than that of goose down.
So when selecting the duvet filling, we should choose the down from adult duck & goose, because its down contains less fat and with larger and full flower, higher filling power, which can be used to make a premium duvet.
Does the animal down in cold environments is better than that in warmer environments?
Generally speaking, the poultry in the cold region can grow down with more fullness and higher bulkiness.
Which is the best down duvet to buy? a goose one or a duck one?
Due to its performance of lightsome and warm-keeping, duvets are more popular in winters, so how to buy a quality duvet? The following methods may work:
By hand touching
When buying a duvet, you can check its hand feeling by carefully touching it with your own hands, a premium duvet is very much soft in its hand feeling.
Smell
You can also grab the duvet and sniff it closely. Usually, the down of a superior duvet is barely odourless, for it has been treated, washed & sterilized in a complex process.
Flap
You can check by hand flapping, a inferior duvet will produce a lot of stive and flying silk because its shell fabric has a poor property of down proof.
Fold the duvet to press
The premium duvet is stuffed with clean and highly fill powered down, light, thermal and has a strong sense of fill power. We can feel the strong fill power when folding the duvet, and it can recover to its previous shape easily after you lose it up.
Duvet quality is not concerning too much with the stuffing of duck & goose down or its natural color. we all can manufacture superior duvets as long as the filling is clean and highly fill powered.
Duvets have many different dimensions which also differs in a variety of countries.
In the UK, duvet sizes are mainly divided into Cot, Single, Double, King and Super King.
While in the US, the duvet size is mainly divided into Twin, Queen, King and California King. It should be noted that even the same King size in the two countries has different actual dimensions.
In the UK, the size of the King size quilt is generally 225x220cm, but in the US, the size of the King quilt is 254x229cm. In addition, people in US & UK usually use inches to express the size of the quilt, while Asian countries prefer to use cm.
The conversion relationship between inch and cm is: 1 inch = 2.54cm.
The duvet fabric is not necessarily to be waterproof, but it must be down proof and breathable. Common duvet fabrics include pure cotton anti-flannel fabric, silk-cotton blended fabric, nylon coated fabric etc. The pure cotton cloth is specially treated, which can better avoid down leaking and is comparatively economical. the nylon plastic-coated cloth has a firm texture, good warmth retention but poor air permeability. Presently, the pure cotton fabric has been mostly utilized in domestic and abroad markets, because it has been specially treated on the basis of high-density pure cotton fabric.
The duvet usually has indications of its fabric, such as the 40s, 60s, 80s, 100s etc., or even higher. This "S" is the concept of "Denier", and 40S is also called 40 deniers, which is used for textile fabrics. The specification of cotton yarn is the number of yarns with a length of one meter that can be spun from one pound of cotton. Therefore, it can be simply understood that the larger the count, the thinner the yarn and the thinner the fabric spun, and of course the price will be higher.
40S fabric is the most popular one in the market. Apart from its economic character, another important factor is its relatively thick fabric which has the best performance of down proof after being specially treated. It can be abrasion-resistant, anti-fleece, and breathable, with all these properties mingled together, the duvet life span can reach as much as 30 years. Our company has a fixed duvet fabric cooperative factory whose fabric is certified by OEKO-TEX and can produce fabric counts from 40 to 150 or even higher.
In addition, when choosing a duvet, you must pay close attention to the fabric to avoid obvious defects and skip yarns, and the stitches of the seam should not be too thin (generally, the stitch length is 12 to 15 stitches within 1 cm), otherwise it is easy to cause down distraction.
The duvet is usually used together with a cover, and you only need to wash the cover at regular intervals to extend its usage life as well as keep the quilt insert clean. What if the duvet insert really gets smudged and need to be cleaned. Please keep in mind, must use hand washing and do not drop it into the washing machine or use dry cleaning.
Cleaning method
Completely drench the duvet with 30 degrees Celsius water, and then wring it dry.
Soak the duvet into 50 degrees Celsius soap water for 10 minutes, and then take the duvet out and place it on a board to flatten it.
Use a mild detergent and gently clean the dirty area with a soft brush. If it is stained with grease, you can sprinkle a little bit of caustic soda.
After brushing, be sure to wash off the soap stains with clean water. Do not leave a large amount of soap liquid in the quilt, otherwise, it will affect the duvet’s fill power.
After the water cleaning, wring out and flatten the duvet, and then leave it to dry.
Cautions:
Don’t scrub, otherwise, it will destroy the down-proof technology and the down may runoff.
Must use a mild detergent.
Do not use a washing machine, dry cleaning or iron, dry after washing. Generally speaking, it is only to clean the quilt cover or partially scrub the quilt. It is not recommended to wash the duvet directly unless it is necessary.
Duvet is a very ideal bedding product that can apply in all seasons, it makes you feel cool in summer and warm in winter.
So how can we use a duvet in an appropriate way?
The duvet cost is based on three factors: down, fabrics and processing fees, and their rate differs greatly in different sizes, fabrics and filling weight. In addition, the prices of duvets vary due to different brands. For household use, we recommend you to choose a duvet of the price from 150 $ to 300 $.
Below is a brief understanding of the duvet rate:
1.Price ranges from 70 to 150 US dollars/piece:
This is the lowest price of down comforter in the market, usually filled with 70% duck down, some even less. It is not recommended to buy duvets with less than 70% down-filled, because they are probably filled with inferior feathers & down.
2.Price between from 150 to 300 US dollars/piece:
The price of down duvets is between 150 and 300 US dollars/piece. Duvets in this price range are the most common in the market and are also well accepted by consumers. You'd better choose a duvet with 80%/90% fine duck down or 70%/80% goose down. The fabric is generally 40s or 60s pure cotton lint-proof fabric.
3.Price between from 300 to 450 US dollars/piece:
The price of the duvet is between 300 and 450 US dollars per strip. It is generally filled with the white goose down, with a down content of 90% or 95%. The fabric generally uses 80s pure cotton satin fabric.
4.For the duvet of the price above 450 dollars, the filling is generally more than 95% of fine goose down, the fabric is generally more than 100 fabrics, and the production will also be very delicate and beautiful.
In conclusion, the price range of duvets is relatively large. Consumers must select carefully. Don't blindly seek bargains or neglect the quality of duvets, otherwise, the unnecessary improper manufacturing may cause physical damage.
As the chief exporter of the duvet, China contributes a huge amount of duvet & other down products exportation to the world each year. Duvet’s HS code is 9404901090, which belongs to ordinary goods in textiles. Its import and export do not require any special documents, only need the exporter to provide the packing list, invoice and certificate of origin to complete the import procedures.
Below is a brief recommendation of how to import superior duvets from China(four steps).
1. Sourcing
The first step is to successfully import the appropriate products. This is much more difficult than simply choosing the cheapest ones. Choosing a cost-effective product requires a lot of time to find suppliers. In addition to considering the quality and Price, we also need to consider the market demand, pricing, sales channels etc. of the product in the domestic market. If we are familiar with the Chinese market, we can directly find some factories to negotiate, but if we don’t understand the Chinese market, then we can use Google and some B2B platforms to enter the product keyword Duvet to find suppliers. We can finalize the most suitable one via comparisons of more suppliers.
2. Products Procurement
After the product negotiation is done, we need to sign a contract with the supplier. The contract should include the payment terms, packaging requirements, transportation methods and other details. If authorized to import and export, you can directly process the deposit (USD) to the Chinese supplier, But if you do not own a company, or your company does not have import and export rights, then you can choose a company with import and export rights in your native country as a paying agent. If you choose this mode, the subsequent final payment, customs clearance, and transportation can be all operated by your agent. You only need to pay the agency fee. Of course, you can also directly authorize the Chinese supplier to handle it. many suppliers can resolve these problems at home. You can just stay at your house and wait for the delivery.
3. Issues concerning transportation and customs clearance
Generally, if we consider long-term imports or save import costs, we will resort to an international logistics agent to consult on the cost as well as some customs clearance documents, tariff issues, HS codes etc., Of course, if we don’t want to be so troublesome, we can also directly hand over these matters to the supplier, and we just wait for the receipt of the goods.
4. Arrange receipt and transportation
After the customs clearance procedures, the goods will be transferred to you. We need to contact a commercial logistics company to ship your goods to your designated warehouse. In this step, we can also ask our freight forwarder to help.
Though it is very easy to import goods from China, we still need to be cautious of the reminders as below listed:
Gucheng Street, Gucheng Town,
Tanghe County, Nanyang City,
Henan Province, China.
